Maugel DeStefano's Interior Design team created a workplace environment that reflects Werfen's culture of innovation while supporting collaboration, flexibility, and employee well-being. As part of the firm's design for Werfen's new 169,000-square-foot research and development center in Bedford, Massachusetts, the interiors establish a cohesive workplace experience that connects people, research, and technology.

The interior design emphasizes openness, transparency, and flexibility while reinforcing the company's global brand. Collaborative neighborhoods, conference rooms, informal meeting areas, cafés, and employee gathering spaces encourage interaction across departments, while also incorporating workspaces that support focus and productivity.
