  • Project Manager

    PROJECT MANAGER

    Eight or more years of experience, licensure preferred but not required, bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited program. Manages multiple midsized projects, coordinates all aspects of assigned projects, and estimates scope of work.

    Essential Job Responsibilities:

    • Has full responsibility for managing all aspects of multiple midsized projects.
    • Prepares strategic plans for project success.
    • Responsible for the coordination of all project efforts, administrative and technical, to assure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects.
    • Serves as the primary client liaison to bring the schedule, budgets, and scope of work to completion and to the client’s satisfaction.
    • Actively manages client budgets, schedules, programs, project communications, documentation, office administrative tasks, and project team assignments.
    • Estimates fees, determines scope of work, and prepares proposals and contracts.
    • Learns and adheres to established company standards for work quality and conduct.

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in architecture
    • 8+ years of experience in the field or in a related area
    • Registered Architect preferred
    • Expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent teamwork skills
    • Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
    • Self-motivated and results-oriented
    • Proven results in job profitability
    • Strong Revit and Microsoft skills
  • Design Staff I

    DESIGN STAFF I

    Assist on a wide variety of tasks primarily on small to medium sized projects and on office place operational efficiencies. Reports to Senior Project Managers and Architects.

    Essential Job Responsibilities:

    • Tasks are directed and time is managed by supervisor.
    • Initially relies on instructions, pre-established guidelines, and immediate supervision to perform the functions of the job, with the goal of progressing to a full understanding of the position and job duties.
    • Performs architectural assignments including drafting of plans, sections, elevations, production of renderings, performing square-foot calculations and materials investigations.
    • Understands where these tasks and responsibilities fall within the overall scope of a project.
    • Assists in development of drawings by picking up redlines.
    • Possesses general knowledge of the components to a CD set: SD, DD, and CD set of drawings.
    • Able to take existing drawings and input data into Revit or AutoCAD per office standards.
    • Able to print, plot and collate a drawing
    • Assists in production of presentation materials such as drawings, 3D models and reports.
    • Attends field visits with supervision to observe and comment on construction progress.
    • Assists with development of written specifications, research and selection of materials.
    • Learns and adheres to established company standards for work quality and conduct.
    • Shares and adopts company core values when interacting with internal and external clients.
    • Contributes towards a culture of teamwork and high character.

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in architecture or architectural engineering.
    • Working experience with Revit and AutoCAD
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    • Between 0-4 years of experience in the architecture field or in a related area of the construction industry.
    • Has knowledge of and, over time, becomes familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of office and the profession.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent teamwork skills
    • Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
    • Self-motivated and results-oriented
