On the gateway corner to historic Groton Center and adjacent to the Groton Inn and the Forge and Vine restaurant, stands a Second Empire French Mansard home affectionately referred to as the Waters House. While initial plans considered extending the historic building, the client ultimately decided to forgo the addition and instead transformed the Waters House into six  apartments.
