Maugel Architects has recently completed its latest design for Fidelity Bank at 153 Front Street in Worcester's City Square area. The new branch features a modern banking environment with an open concept design. New Teller Pods replaced the conventional teller line and allow for better client interaction. Interior offices feature glass wall fronts, bringing natural light into the space. To encourage traffic flow between the bank and the adjacent Protein House restaurant, Maugel designed a retractable wall that when opened allows visitors to freely travel between the two establishments.
Maugel and Fidelity have enjoyed a relationship spanning more than 10 years. Prior projects include the design of Fidelity's headquarters location in Leominster and other bank branches in Worcester, Millbury, Paxton, Gardner and Leominster.
