Maugel DeStefano Architects designed this 19-unit luxury condominium development in Portland, Maine. The building is located at 155 Sheridan Street in the highly sought-after East End neighborhood of the city and features a modern aesthetic that blends with the surrounding architecture. The residential units feature a mix of one- and two-bedroom layouts, each with either an outdoor deck or an at-grade patio. Residents will enjoy a variety of common amenities, including a roof deck,  bike storage, a mail/package room, and indoor trash and recycling facilities.

The Sheridan Street site presented a significant challenge due to a lot size of only 18,140 SF with a 40-foot grade change. The design maximized the unit count and created room for outdoor patios, decks, and daylighting for units set deep into the steep site.
