In this final phase of the five-phase renovation project at Sturdy Memorial Hospital, our healthcare team designed a new central sterilization processing suite and operating room. By expanding central sterilization into a space vacated by relocating Inpatient Pharmacy in the prior phase, the team improved access to the operating room and created additional space to accommodate current and future demand. The enhanced functionality of these suites improved staff workflow and established a more efficient sterilization process capable of handling the expected increase in volume from the OR.

Maugel DeStefano has been working closely with Sturdy Memorial Hospital to enhance their facilities and provide exceptional care to patients since 2017.  Throughout our collaboration, we have successfully completed a variety of projects, ranging from advisory services to the design of a ground-up medical office building in Plainville, MA. Our healthcare team has also designed substantial renovations in multiple areas of the hospital. These include the modernization of CT Imaging, Same Day Surgery, Inpatient Pharmacy, and LDRP.
