Dear Friends and Colleagues:
Our family wishes to express our heartfelt appreciation to all of you who contributed to the Shatterproof Rise Up Against Addiction 5K Walk yesterday. Many contributed with generous donations, thoughts and prayers, fundraising, walking, running, and pushing baby carriages throughout the 5K course.
Our team, the Matthew Giaimo Legacy Team, had 53 walk participants and raised nearly $22,000, just shy of our $25,000 goal. If any of you had trouble donating online, please go to link below or simply send a check to help raise the additional $3,000 needed to reach our goal.

Yesterday was a hard day for everyone who has lost a loved one. Harder still, is the knowledge that the disease of addiction claims over 70,000 souls annually. The outpouring of love and support from the thousands of people at the event has brought our family comfort and hope that Shatterproof will succeed in its fight against our country’s most urgent health crisis.
