Milford, Mass. (May 17, 2023) – Maugel DeStefano Architects announced construction of a new 3, 850 SF bank branch is underway for Milford Federal Bank in Milford, Mass. Sited on the high visibility corner at Medway and Branch Streets,  the ground-up construction project features a large open concept public banking area with exposed structure, individual banking pods, private lender and manager offices, a conference room, and an employee break room.

The design concept marries the welcoming experience of being at home—familiar to long-standing members—with a fresh, innovative aesthetic to attract new members. Exterior features include a walk-up ATM in the main vestibule, canopied drive-up teller locations, and a monumental sign with a flagpole and seating area.

In addition to Milford Federal and Maugel DeStefano Architects, team members include Lobisser & Ferreira, general contractor; BLW, MEP/FP; TF Moran, structural; and Allen Engineering, civil.  Construction completion is scheduled for the end of 2023.
