We are pleased to welcome Bill O’Neill as Studio Leader of the firm’s Industrial & Commercial Studio. With more than 15 years of experience in architecture and project management, Bill brings extensive experience leading complex projects from planning and design through construction.
In his new role, Bill will lead the studio’s day-to-day operations and work closely with Principal Mike Kunz, the studio’s former leader, who will continue to help drive the firm’s strategy for the industrial and commercial sectors. Together, they will build on the studio’s strong foundation and continue to serve clients across these markets.
Bill’s portfolio spans a range of project types, including commercial, mixed-use, and assisted living developments, as well as retail, hospitality, workplace, and higher education projects. He brings extensive experience leading multidisciplinary teams, coordinating consultants, navigating regulatory requirements, and partnering with clients to deliver projects that balance functionality, quality, and design.
Before joining Maugel DeStefano, Bill held architectural and project management leadership positions with firms in Massachusetts, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. Throughout his career, he has managed projects across all phases of design and construction, bringing a broad perspective to project delivery and team leadership.
Bill is a registered architect and earned a Master of Architecture in Urban Planning and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Planning from The Catholic University of America.
