Norwood, Mass. – Maugel DeStefano Architects announced the firm is designing a new passive house residential community in Norwood for Panther Residential Management, the Boston-based developer spearheading the project. Located directly across from the Norwood train station and just steps from the downtown area, 25 East Hoyle Street will offer residents convenient access into Boston while providing a comfortable, modern living experience rooted in sustainability and thoughtful design. The project is designed to achieve Passive House Certification, setting the standard for energy efficiency, thermal comfort, and environmental performance in multifamily housing. 

The 132-unit development will feature a mix of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments, each designed with large windows to maximize natural light, spacious layouts with generous kitchen areas, and walk-in closets. Select units will also include private balconies extending the living areas. Residents will enjoy an extensive suite of amenities designed to enhance daily life, including a welcoming lobby and on-site staff, leasing office, resident lounge with fireplace and kitchen, private work-from-home rooms, a large fitness center, dog grooming station, outdoor patio with grilling areas, and convenient surface parking.

Groundbreaking is anticipated in Spring 2026, with first residents expected to move in by the end of 2027.
