Maugel Architects announced construction has begun on the new 66-unit Lake Point senior housing development in Lakeville, Massachusetts. Developed by Jon Delli Priscoli of First Colony Development, the Big House-style development is beautifully sited on a high bluff overlooking cranberry bogs and Pocksha Pond on the scenic Betty’s Neck peninsula.

By giving the illusion of singular mansions, Maugel’s novel approach to Big House design brings a fresh approach to typical multi-residential design throughout the region. The residences at Lake Point pay homage to the elegance of a bygone era often seen in large New England lake houses and turn of the century homes in the Hamptons. The spacious two bedrooms units feature a den, smart technologies, sustainable materials and panoramic views of Lakeville ponds.
In addition to Maugel Architects and First Colony Development, other team members include Stantec for civil engineering, TF Moran for structural engineering, Lobisser & Ferreira Construction as construction manager, and Lopes Construction for site work.
