Maugel Architects announced the completion of the 24,000 SF design for New England Orthodontic Laboratory (NEOLab). Located at 3 Riverside Drive in Andover, NEOLab is a custom ortho lab catering to pediatric dentists and orthodontists. Bowdoin Construction served as construction manager for the project.
The interior fit-out included a mix of office and lab space. Office areas feature an open concept with glass-walled conference rooms, a customer service area, and reception. Lab areas included specialty workspaces for 3D printing, acrylics, and finishing. Particular attention was given to creating efficient workflows that minimized distances between departments and maximized efficiencies. The result is a modern, flexible environment that enabled NEOLab to expand with minimal disruption to operations.
