I am thrilled to announce that I will be embarking on a new chapter in my life as I retire formally from Maugel DeStefano Architects on October 6th. Every minute of my career has been a joy, and I am grateful for the opportunities and experiences it has brought me. While I will undoubtedly miss seeing all of you, I am eagerly looking forward to some much-needed time off to explore new horizons.

Retirement is not a decision I have taken lightly.  Instead, I believe it is the right time for me to step aside while my health is at its best, allowing me to fully embrace and enjoy this next phase of my life in a healthy and fulfilling manner.

I am pleased to introduce Angela Gallucci as our new director of business development. With over a decade of industry expertise, Angela will officially join Maugel DeStefano in late October. Anticipate a call from Angela—she is excited to meet each of you and is dedicated to strengthening our existing relationships and establishing new partnerships. Rest assured, you'll be in good hands with Angela.

As I reflect on my career, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible individuals I have met along the way. To my industry colleagues, who have become friends and confidants, thank you for your support and camaraderie. It is through these connections that I have grown both personally and professionally, and I am truly grateful for each and every one of you.

I would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to my extended Maugel DeStefano family. Your unwavering support and friendship have played an important role in my life.  Together, we have achieved remarkable milestones, and I am forever grateful for the opportunity to work alongside such gifted and dedicated individuals. Our journey has been filled with an abundance of joyful and laughter-filled moments, forming unbreakable bonds that I will treasure for a lifetime.

Last but certainly not least, I want to express my deepest appreciation to my loving wife, Kristiina, my son, Chase, and my daughter, Serena. Thank you for your constant love and support. Having you by my side has been my strength, and I am truly blessed.

Looking towards the future, I hope to continue my journey of making a positive impact. Specifically, I aspire to provide support to newly diagnosed Parkinson's patients, helping them navigate the challenges of medication and sharing my personal experiences to offer solace and guidance. I firmly believe that with the right support and mindset, one can lead a life of quality and fulfillment even in the face of adversity. I am a living testament to this belief.

Warmest regards,

John
