In 2019 Vecna Robotics, a maker of autonomous warehouse robots, consolidated manufacturing, testing, and offices at Duffy Properties' Waverly Place in Waltham. Maugel DeStefano worked with Vecna to plan and design 80,000 SF of light industrial and office space to meet the firm's growing needs. The project scope included a robot testing and customization area, a machine shop, a customer support lounge, private offices, an employee break area, and conference rooms. A new loading platform to lift large loads from the grade to the factory floor level is also planned.
