Maugel Architects worked closely with the Capital Projects Division at Boston College to design renovations to the faculty lounge and the Dean’s Suite at the Law School. The Dean wanted the look of a downtown law firm to help project a corporate image to potential students and donors, while the project managers insisted on a very conservative budget and schedule. All work needed to be completed over the summer hiatus. Maugel worked to balance these expectations by working closely with all of the parties to build consensus. The end result is a beautiful space with improved adjacencies and process flow.
