This seasonal lakehouse retreat on Lake Winnipesaukee is thoughtfully designed as a welcoming and relaxed family getaway. With four en suite bedrooms, a cozy bunk room above the garage, and a sunroom that frames panoramic water views, the home offers the perfect balance of comfort and charm. The clients’ two primary goals were for every bedroom to overlook the lake and for the home to feel warm and approachable, despite its 6,500 square feet. To keep the scale intimate, the second floor is tucked beneath the roofline and softened with dormers. Natural materials, timeless forms, and a strong connection to the outdoors give the home an understated presence along the shoreline. Two piers extend into the water, enhancing the lakeside lifestyle and offering easy access for boating, swimming, and enjoying the view.
