Maugel DeStefano Architects was excited to have one of our custom residential projects featured on the 2026 Wellesley Kitchen & Home Tour, one of the region's premier home tours celebrating excellence in residential architecture, interior design, and craftsmanship. Hosted by the The Wellesley Hills Junior Women's Club (WHJWC), the annual event raises funds for grants, scholarships, and programs that support individuals and families throughout the Wellesley community.
We were pleased to showcase a home that reflects the collaborative efforts of the entire project team. Working closely with the homeowners and Lindsay Lawrence Interiors, we designed a home tailored to the family's lifestyle, goals, and vision. Custom home builder C.H. Newton Builders led construction, executing the design with exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail.
The Wellesley Kitchen & Home Tour welcomed more than 600 guests to explore six distinct homes throughout Wellesley. Each residence highlighted a unique architectural style and interior design aesthetic, offering visitors inspiration for custom home design, remodeling, and home renovation projects. Every featured home also included a surprise pop-up boutique, adding another memorable element to the experience.
Members of Maugel DeStefano's residential design team were on site throughout the tour alongside Lindsay Lawrence Interiors, answering questions about the home's design, planning process, and architectural details. Events like these provide a great opportunity to connect with homeowners, design enthusiasts, and members of the community.
In addition to participating as the architect for one of the featured homes, Maugel DeStefano was proud to serve as a Premier Sponsor of this year's event. Through volunteer service and fundraising, the WHJWC supports children with special needs, young women pursuing educational opportunities, families facing difficult circumstances, older adults, and educational initiatives that promote kindness, tolerance, and acceptance. Supporting organizations that invest in their communities aligns with our belief that great design extends beyond individual homes to enriching the lives of people and their communites.
We thank the The Wellesley Hills Junior Women's Club, the homeowners, volunteers, sponsors, and everyone who attended for making this year's Kitchen & Home Tour a tremendous success. We are grateful to have been part of an event that celebrates exceptional homes while helping fund programs that make a lasting impact across the community.
