Maugel Architects has announced the completion of the Groton Community School, a nationally accredited early childhood center located in Groton, MA. Maugel designed a major expansion and renovation for the school. The expansion of the original 1984 facility included larger classrooms, a new library, enhanced circulation areas, improved staff spaces, and a community room. The new space incorporates sustainable practices with dedicated areas for recycling, rain gardens, pervious paving, and rainwater collection.
