In May of 2019,  Rollstone Bank & Trust  opened a bank branch in the small town of Groton. Maugel DeStefano Architects designed the 3,200 SF building in collaboration with the team at South Coast Development and Rollstone Bank & Trust. The building's traditional design and small scale fit the context of the surrounding area and create a welcoming environment. Once inside, patrons experience a more modern interior with a palette of soft gray and brown tones.  Oversized windows bring the outside in, giving the space a much larger feel. Natural light and modern light fixtures reinforce the charm of the small community while adding refinement and comfort to the bank.
