We are happy to be walking on June 12th for the Walk for Boston Children's Hospital. This is our 14th year supporting the fundraiser.  It’s still hard to believe that the first year we walked my son Andrew was only 5 months old and had fully recovered from heart surgery. Andrew had the surgery when he was 3 days old to repair a congenital heart defect: transposition of the great arteries.  We walk in support of the amazing cardiac department that detected, monitored, and repaired Andrew’s heart defect.  We are forever grateful for the research and patient care at Boston Children’s Hospital. Andrew is now a healthy 13-year-old who loves baseball and riding his bike and has no physical restrictions.<

Since the Walk began in 2003, we have raised almost $17,000 because of the generosity of our wonderful family and friends.  We can’t thank you enough for your past support.  We greatly appreciate it. So many children and families benefit from this amazing hospital.  We never imagined we would be one of them.  This is our annual way of giving back and expressing our gratitude.

Thank you,

Maureen, Dave, Will & Andrew
