FIBA Technologies has selected the design-build team of Maugel Architects and Groom Construction for the renovations for their new corporate office, manufacturing, and assembly plant in Littleton, Massachusetts. FIBA is a leading provider of gas containment equipment and services to the industrial gas, chemicals, specialty gas, offshore oil and gas exploration, and alternative fuel industries.

The plans call for extensive renovations and new construction of a two story corporate office addition to the 384,000 square foot precast concrete manufacturing plant. Design elements will include a glass atrium entry facade that transforms the building by creating a new signature-style to the space. This is Maugel's fifth project featuring facade upgrades in recent months. Upgrading the facade of a building enables the property to be competitively repositioned as an attractive alternative to existing commercial and industrial product.

Founded in 1979, Groom is a full-service general contracting firm offering preconstruction, construction management, design-build, permitting and general contracting service throughout the United States. Groom specializes in commercial, retail, and multi-family work and has offices in Minnesota and Massachusetts.
