As a new branch, this 4,200 SF banking center contains offices, meeting rooms, six teller counters, two ATM’s, a drive through, and a station for web-based financial services. The dramatic interior features barrel vaults, a central skylight, and custom millwork. On the exterior, brick, precast details, and wood contribute to the building’s human scale and traditional character. |

250 Maple Street, Marlborough, MA
MAI planned new exterior facades, storefronts, and signage for this former one-story warehouse. Through the combination of classical details, contemporary elements, and vertical features, the building’s image is reinvented. In addition, MAI generated a master plan for the property which reconfigured parking and access to triple usable commercial space. |

The retail environment has soft lighting, custom woodwork, solid surface counters, and warm finishes. On the outside, materials and appropriate signage blend with the context of the building’s rural, New England setting. |

The design for Shorty’s restaurant resulted in a colorful, fun, and unique dining environment connected to a relaxed bar and lounge. The interior configuration and lighting accentuates the owner’s eclectic assortment of antique signs and memorabilia, as well as a vintage motorcycle. The well-organized use of space maximizes patron seating and operational efficiency. |
