Weston Golf Club, Weston, MA
Maugel Architects provided comprehensive architectural and interior design services for the Weston Golf Club in Weston, MA. Building upon the exquisite landscape of the surrounding golf course, the scope included interior reconfi gurations and renovations to revitalize the interior of the Clubhouse. Maugel Architects worked hand in hand with the Building and House Committees to create an interior layout that accommodated current space requirements including a commercial kitchen, club room spaces, as well as staff lounge and offi ce quarters. The interior design is reminiscent of the traditional character of the building while emphasizing modern day materials and color palettes. |

Concord Country Club, Concord, MA
This project began with a master plan that reorganized the Club’s recreational facilities in order to improve upon circulation and accommodate the construction of a new six-lane competition pool. Maugel then designed the new pool and deck layout, site features, and a new 3,500 SF field house with, a snack bar, locker rooms and a tennis pro shop. |

Thoreau Club, Concord, MA
The club offers state-of-the-art fitness and recreational facilities
on a 50-acre wooded site. MAI designed three buildings for multiple swimming and tennis functions, a fitness center, a summer camp, and banquet hall. In a later phase Maugel designed a 25,000 SF addition, constructed without disturbance to the existing operations at the Club. |

Shore Educational Collaborative, Chelsea, MA
Complete renovation of an existing office and manufacturing building into a combined educational, vocational, and administrative center. The 80,000 SF building fit-up, plus a new gracious entry and Library addition, were completed on an aggressive schedule, allowing the Collaborative to initially occupy their new home within 8 months of the project’s conception. |

Falmouth Yacht Club, Falmouth, MA
Extensive renovation of this facility has resulted in a fresh image for the club, and has dramatically increased its operational flexibility. A new glazed tower and curved deck along the ocean serve as a beacon for sailors and convey a nautical theme. Reorganized interior spaces provide a ship’s store, indoor and outdoor function rooms, a lounge and sailing school. |
