Boston College Law School, Dean’s Suite, Newton, MA
MAI recently completed interior architectural services for the extensive renovation of the Law School Dean’s office suite and associated administrative areas. The project involved the accommodation of an extensive space program within a relatively confined building area. The project’s design combines traditional custom wood millwork and rich finishes with contemporary lighting and glazing details – all conceived to economically create a gracious and professional environment befitting a prestigious law office.

Shore Educational Collaborative, Chelsea, MA
Complete renovation of an existing office and manufacturing building into a combined educational, vocational, and administrative center. The 80,000 SF building fit-up, plus a new gracious entry and Library addition, were completed on an aggressive schedule, allowing the Collaborative to initially occupy their new home within 8 months of the project’s conception. |

Phillips Academy Dormitories, Andover, MA
MAI developed a comprehensive renovations program for both the interior and exterior for student dormitories for this private prep school. Design solutions addressed dormitory common areas, dwelling unit enhancement, and upgraded building systems. Special attention was paid to respecting the building’s classic architectural detailing. |

North Central Charter Essential School, Fitchburg, MA
A
12,000 SF expansion for the North Central Charter Essential School, located in a mixed-use mill building in Fitchburg. The expansion included the design of a monumental connecting stair, allowing both junior high and high school students the use of amenities on both floor levels. New construction included an Art Room, Science Lab, and an Assembly area. |
